A. George "Skip" Battle
A. George "Skip" Battle currently sits on LinkedIn's Board of Directors. In addition to LinkedIn, Battle is also a member of the board of directors at several companies including Expedia, Netflix, OpenTable and Workday. He is also a senior fellow at the Aspen Institute. Prior to serving on the boards of several technology companies, Battle served with Andersen Consulting in various roles, including worldwide managing partner, market development, until his retirement from Andersen Consulting. Battle served as a director of PeopleSoft until its acquisition by Oracle. He is also the former chief executive officer and executive chairman of Ask Jeeves.
Reid Hoffman
Reid Hoffman is Executive Chairman and co-founder of LinkedIn. Prior to LinkedIn, Reid was Executive Vice President of PayPal where he was in charge of all business relationships: business development, corporate development, international, government relations, and banking/payments infrastructure. During his tenure at PayPal, Reid was instrumental to the acquisition by eBay and was responsible for partnerships with Intuit, Visa, MasterCard and Wells Fargo. Reid also has held management roles in significant technology companies, including Fujitsu Software Corporation and Apple. In addition to LinkedIn, Reid serves on the Board of Directors for SixApart, Kiva.org, and Mozilla Corporation. Reid graduated with distinction from Stanford University with a BS in Symbolic Systems and from Oxford University with a Master’s degree in philosophy and a scholarship.
Leslie Kilgore
Leslie Kilgore has served as Chief Marketing Officer at Netflix since 2000. During her tenure, she has grown the Netflix subscriber base from fewer than 100,000 to more than thirteen million. Since Leslie joined the company, Netflix has been ranked six consecutive times as the number one online retailer for customer satisfaction by independent researchers ForeSee Results. Prior to joining Netflix, Leslie held various positions at Amazon.com, Procter & Gamble and Booz, Allen and Hamilton. Leslie has a MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's degree from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mark Kvamme
Mark Kvamme focuses on software and services investments. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 1999, Mark was Chairman of USWeb/CKS and Chairman and CEO of CKS Group prior to the merger with USWeb. Earlier in his career Mark was a Director of International Marketing for Wyse Technology, the President and CEO of International Solutions, and was a founding member of Apple France. Mark has a B.A. in French Economics and Literature from the University of California at Berkeley.
David Sze
David is a General Partner at Greylock and joined the firm in January, 2000. Prior to Greylock, he was Senior Vice President of Product Strategy at Excite and then Excite@Home. As an early employee at Excite, David also held roles as GM of Excite.com and Vice President of Content and Programming for the Excite Network. Before Excite, he was in product marketing and development at Crystal Dynamics and Electronic Arts. He started his career in management consulting for the Boston Consulting Group and Marakon Associates. He received a B.A. from Yale University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Jeff Weiner
Jeff Weiner is Chief Executive Officer of LinkedIn. Jeff has over 14 years of experience as an internet executive, including current positions as an Executive in Residence at Accel Partners and Greylock Partners. Prior to joining LinkedIn, Jeff spent over seven years in key leadership roles at Yahoo!, most recently as the Executive Vice President of Yahoo!'s Network Division, managing Yahoo's consumer web product portfolio including Yahoo's Front Page, Mail, Search, and Media products. In addition to LinkedIn, Jeff serves on the Board of Directors for Donorschoose.org and Malaria No More. He holds a BS in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
